Enough! I am laying down the BS card!
Regarding a recent X post of Netanyahu’s appeal for arms video, directed toward the Biden administration: In it, he asked for the arms to “finish it.” Finish what? The answer is easy enough for anyone paying attention - - . Finish Hamas, a terrorist organization that, without apology, organized and executed an attack on Israeli civilians, who were kidnapped, raped, mutilated, dismembered, and are in some cases still being held hostage. The response in “comments” was fast, vitriolic, and vulgar, accusing Netanyahu of everything from genocide, to infanticide, to unspeakable arrogance, greed, ingratitude - - The critics decry the cost of civilian casualty in communities that not only support Hamas, but their relentless attack on Israeli civilians.
BS!
Here is an alternative view - -
At the end of WWII, while the Allied forces were dividing-up what was left of Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, there was little sympathy for the vanquished Axis powers, nor for those who supported Hitler’s policy of genocide. You might recall that Allied forces were fired upon by the impromptu forces of a country we were trying our best to LIBERATE on the European continent, and N. Africa generally supported Axis forces in no small part for their attempts to exterminate the entire Jewish race, religion, culture, and history. Such was the setting for the formation of the State of Israel. Yes, it may not be the “woke” view. I will not even try to argue the case that has been debated since the State of Israel was created. The result is more to the point - -
One need only visit Israel to see the result of hard work, dedication, and commitment. Dedication to the fundamental elements of civilization itself, agriculture, education, medicine, law, the arts in all their forms, industry, innovation, engineering, written law, and self-government to appreciate Israel’s right to take its’ place in the world as a sovereign nation.
Since Israel’s founding to present day, ancient animosities and equally ancient philosophies have worked to destroy not only Israel, but ANY culture that opposed their fanatically held beliefs. The world has chosen to term their methods “Terrorism,” and dismiss terrorism as a tool to reach political goals. Make no mistake; laying bombs to kill and maim women and children, flying airplanes into buildings to achieve highest body-count, is beyond “terrorism” - - It has an ancient name, a more apt name, with NO possible redeeming quality - - a force men of good-will have battled for centuries - - since recorded time. It is the antithesis of ‘Civilization. It is “Barbarism.”
In the time since Israel’s forming, as the forces of Barbarism executed their bloody work around the world (and particularly in Israel) the US and Israel formed a relationship of both formal and informal cooperation that depended on a basic understanding of ‘quid-pro-quo.’ Israel would do their best to fight Barbarism at its’ epicenter, in and around Israel, while defending its’ borders, and the US would support their efforts with funding and war machinery to keep Barbarism as far from US shores as possible. One need only review the results of that bargain, and consider organized Barbarism’s toll in human life and misery in other parts of the civilized world, to recognize the enormity of US benefit from our long support of Israel.
Israel is an ally who have proven their loyalty many times over. They have proven their support of the American Dream, self-reliance, and self-government by example, and defended both the US and themselves in the most precious currency since the beginning of time; in human blood.
How can “We the People” turn our back on a country who has done so much to support us, delay support that is needed to ‘finish the job’ of protecting our ally’s border, while allow a corrupt little country who has done nothing for the US approach us with an extended hand, not seeking a grasp of friendship, but ‘palm-up,’ unlimited access to our treasury? How can we support a foreign policy that demands (demands!) Israel lay-down arms to allows Hamas to re-build for future attacks?
BS!
Cornell, Yale, Princeton students- - BS! Dump your Commie professors, and read some history, reconsider your values. What would YOU be ready to die for?

UPDATE: ICUMI - Biden apologist Sec State Blinken appeared on the National propaganda network this evening to explain that only a single arms shipment of ordnance was "delayed" and why it made perfect sense to chastise and otherwise insult Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his determined effort to secure Israel's borders - - No explanation why he has not loudly condemned Hamas for their cowardly barbarous raid, or why he has not demanded the immediate return of all hostages.
NO SALE - DOUBLE BS - Disgraceful - a blot on our National Honor
I lived in Libya for over a decade, was there when Gaddafi took over. My feelings about the Middle East are much different than most Americans, I’m sure, having never had that experience. I will say this, I have huge respect for Israel, and not much for Islamic countries. Is Israel perfect? Is their government perfect? No, and neither is ours, as we’ve become more and more aware of. But Israel is a DAMN sight better politically than any Arab country I’ve been in, for many, many reasons…too many reasons to go into here. I believe many of those supporting Palestine and/or Hamas have zero idea of what those people believe in, or practice. There is a very good reason no one in the Arab world has opened their borders to welcome in Palestinians. They do not want the brutality and lawlessness these people bring with them. But that’s okay, we welcome them here and in Western Europe and we are beginning to see the results of their hatred to any culture other than their own! We will reap what we have sown.
